We run basic ‘Pest Awareness’ programmes for production supervisors as well as cleaning operators. These consist of a short (up to 2 hours) classroom session then a visit into the factory where they will learn to inspect areas and see for themselves what they should be looking for. Often, courses will be provided for within the contract and additional courses can either be run during a routine inspection, or for a small fee at a different time.
For more senior managers we have a training program entitled ‘Opportunities for Infestation and how to find them’. This outlines the environmental and economic consequences of infestation and what they can do to prevent them. One course will be provided for within the contract, additional courses can either be run during a routine inspection, or for a small fee at a different time.
We also run a 2-day intensive pest management course entitled ‘Pest Management in Bakeries’, which is designed for Technical and Hygiene Managers as well as production managers who have a responsibility that encompasses pest management. This is a chargeable course, with a maximum attendance of 10 delegates.External Training
We are able to provide specific training for individuals or groups to support them in achieving pest control qualifications, or to provide in-depth knowledge (for example, auditing pest controllers).
